Leading endorsements, outreach, and internship programs for Joe Simitian's Congressional campaign for district 16, (over 750K residents in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties). Showcase Joe's work to focused areas of interest. Create and operationalize outreach programs across social, email, and other applications. Design and implement large and small district events. Recruit, train, and involve highschool interns to help the campaign.

Led social media communications across multiple platforms. Design and implement large and small district events targeting the district’s over 1MM residents in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties.

CAMPAIGN CONSULTANT, 2017 - Present

Provide Campaign Management, Field, Data, Social, Graphics, Communications, and Digital Strategy services for 40+ Local & State Campaigns in the Bay Area, Central Valley, and Southern California.

CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT

• Plan and implement campaign plan and strategies.

• Prioritize budget spend and communications plans.

• Advise candidate on campaign activities and progress of the campaign.

• Hire and oversee campaign staff, volunteers, and consultants.

FIELD & DATA STRATEGY

• Own the field strategy, including sourcing, purchasing, organizing, tagging, analyzing, and acting on voter data. 

• Prioritize precincts for walking and cut turf.

• Identify and prioritize voter constituencies for ad buys and direct mail.

• Create, target, and analyze emails, online ads, and social media posts. 

COMMUNICATIONS & DIGITAL STRATEGY

• Design print and digital ads, mailers, and lawn signs, including messaging. Run extensive email fundraising. 

• Maintain the brand strategy, creating flyers, printed collateral, and email campaigns that correspond with and amplify the brand message.

• Led cross-functional teams over 10+ years at Google.

• Successfully delivered numerous multi-million dollar launches as a Program Manager​ and ​Design Producer​, including:

  • Led development of ​Nest.com​ online marketing site, store, and emails (scale: 100MM+ pageviews, 10MM+ emails, 1MM+ email subscribers).

  • Delivered ​mission​ critical subscription service​ on time despite overwhelming technical and logistical challenges, saving millions in pre​-spent marketing dollars.

  • Led the high risk $100MM+ project to replace the internal system Google uses to pay, transfer, and manage ​Googlers’ human resources lifecycle (from hire to exit) with a 3rd party cloud ​based HR system.

• Collaborated with a team of 160+​ producers, designers, product managers, marketing, Go To Market leads, finance, tech leads, developers, test engineers, network operations, and executives to deliver projects.

• Partnered with the product team to ​deliver key support​ reducing features and improved help center tools and documentation. Created a troubleshooter tool that alone reduced support volume by half.

• Mentored teams, direct reports, and indirects/extended team, creating opportunities for them to shine in a way that benefitted the product, resulting in new team leads and promotions​ to senior roles.
